We’re looking for an endlessly patient, detail-obsessed and deep-diving Community Manager & Customer Support Specialist who speaks both English and Chinese (Simplified or Traditional) to join our team.
If you genuinely believe in the future of VR gaming, love digging into complex player issues, are mentally prepared to stay calm with salty players and enjoy a good laugh at gaming memes – this role is for you!
No formal experience required, just patience, common sense, and great communication skills.
Be the Face of UnLoop: Monitor and respond to player reviews and comments across Steam, Meta Quest, Pico, Discord, YouTube, Reddit and social channels (both positive praise and heavy critiques).
Note: Our team is not against the use of AI in work, but when it comes to replies and communication with players, we expect human speech, not scripts or templates.
Bridge the Gap: Collect player feedback, feature requests and complaints, organize them cleanly in a spreadsheet, and deliver them directly to UnLoop Producer and dev team.
Triage & Track Bugs: Discuss issues with the dev team and log confirmed bugs into Jira.
Build Community Knowledge: Write community guides, update the wiki and keep discussions lively.
Conquer Chinese Platforms: Manage and grow our presence on platforms like Bilibili, Heybox, etc. (Note: understanding the specifics of Mainland China platforms is a HUGE plus, even if you are based in Taiwan or Hong Kong).
Meme Master: Create fun, relatable gaming/VR memes to keep our social channels entertaining.
VR Enthusiast: You play VR games regularly and track the VR news.
Troubleshooter Mindset: You're tech-savvy, naturally curious and patient enough to walk confused players through technical setups.
Unshakable Positivity: You’ll represent our studio publicly. You know how to extract useful feedback from cranky comments while leaving players with a warm, positive impression (dark jokes are welcome).
Meme & Social Fluent: You know current internet trends and how to talk like a human, not an AI-bot. Sense of humor and wit are huge pluses!
Bilingual Mastery: Fluent written and spoken English + fluent Chinese (Traditional or Simplified).
Self-Disciplined and Detail-Oriented: UnLoop Producer takes order, regular status updates, and bug-reporting discipline in Jira VERY seriously.
100% Remote and Flexible: Work from anywhere in the world.
Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week (with a few overlapping hours needed with Producer in Estonia, UTC+2).
2-Week Paid Trial Period: We’ll start with a short trial to make sure we’re a great fit for each other and comfortable working across our time zones.
Where: Please send an email to hello@superpositionnull.com.
Intro: A brief introduction about yourself, your VR setup and gaming experience.
Support Scenario 1 (Critique): Find any real negative comment/review about UnLoop on Meta or Pico China. Include a link/screenshot of the comment and write down your proposed reply to this player.
Support Scenario 2 (Declining an idea): Go to our Steam Discussions and pick any feature request/idea from a player. Write a polite, warm reply declining the idea without making any false promises.
We’re a small indie team and we value casual, friendly relationships. Please apply in your own words, not through an AI. You’ll be representing the team in public, and we need to understand how you plan to interact with our audience and whether that approach is a good fit for us. We'll reply to everyone, but it may take some time.
Thank you for your understanding ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
