We are a bunch of game developers scattered across different countries, working entirely from our couches (or coffee shops). Even though we come from totally different cultures, age groups, and backgrounds, we all share the exact same obsession: making weird, mind-bending, non-standard games that make people say, "Wait, how does this even work?!" We don’t do safe, boring formulas here. We embrace the unconventional.
We are a growing team, and while some of us prefer to stay behind the scenes, here is a glimpse into the collective brainpower crafting our games:
Our tech side is covered by a lead developer who has been coding for over two decades. Honestly, we think he can program a microwave to run Crysis. Give him any language, any insane mechanical logic, or any level of complexity, and he’ll just build it. No sweat.
Our visual direction is led by a mind with an incredibly broad creative spectrum. We're talking a hyper-detailed, borderline nerdy knowledge of cars, weapon design, and crazy sci-fi gadgets, mixed with high-level skills as an expressive furry-artist. This wild contrast brings a completely unique flavor to our worlds.
Our level and narrative design roots run deep in Valve’s physics engines. Members of our team spent years creating acclaimed Portal 2 mods and even went on to launch their own full, community-made Portal game. If you love puzzles that twist your brain into a pretzel, you can thank their experience.
The audio in our games isn't just a bunch of random sound effects, it's an atmosphere. It's crafted by a creative powerhouse who designs audio for live theater shows, mixes massive concerts, writes his own music, and plays live jazz with his own band. That deep, improvisational musical background is exactly why our soundscapes feel so complex and alive.
Before we dive into the details, a quick brag: our very first game, UnLoop, just became a finalist for the 29th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards in the Immersive Reality Technical Achievement category! Still pinching ourselves, honestly.
